Bike portion of Draft Transportation Management Plan (TMP) for BRAC-133 at Mark Center

The US Army Corps of Engineers has provided the City with a Draft Transportation Management Plan (TMP) for BRAC-133 at Mark Center. Comments regarding the Draft TMP should be sent to andrea.wilkinson at alexandriava.gov by June 11, 2010.

Someone more knowledgeable than me might want to comment on the portion of the plan related to bikes. Are estimates reasonable? Are facilities sufficient? For example (p. 118), " 44 showers are available on site, with eight in the Fitness Center, and 36 designated bicyclist shower rooms in the lower level, complete with lockers". Are these unisex showers are split between men and women (and if split, in what ratio)?
