Saturday, June 5 at 9 AM
Star-Spangled Banner Trail Bicycle Tour
Join us for a 10-mile tour through history with costumed
interpreters and across the Woodrow Wilson Bridge connecting two historic sites caught up in the British Campaign of the War of
1812.
Select from one of two start locations:
Carlyle House Historic Park
121 North Fairfax Street
Alexandria, Virginia
Oxon Hill Farm
6411 Oxon Hill Road
Oxon Hill, Maryland
An optional two-hour 20-mile loop to Fort Washington departs from Oxon Hill Farm
at noon and includes an interpretive program at Fort Washington.
The tours are free, but helmets, reservations, and a signed
waiver are required. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a
participating adult. Routes include some street cycling and hills.
