I'm disappointed that this new, much-needed, and
long-awaited bicycle and pedestrian crossing of the
Potomac River will not open for approximately another
full year, but I don't know what we can do to expedite
its construction.  

Meanwhile, hardly anybody has been actively pushing
for another bicycle and pedestrian crossing at the
American Legion Bridge, so that connection probably
won't be created for AT LEAST another 20 years.
