     Send this note to your legislators:
    
"Senator Patricia Ticer and Delegate Adam Ebbin will be introducing legislation in this session to require drivers to stop for pedestrians.
      I strongly support this legislation that will clarify the current law and remove any ambiguity as to pedestrians’ rights.  There are too many preventable pedestrian deaths and injuries that this legislation will help address.  Please support these bills when they come before you, or better yet, offer to co-patron them."
Both Senator Ticer (District 30): district30 at sov.state.va.us and Delegate Ebbin (District 49): DelAEbbin at house.state.va.us represent part of Alexandria, Arlington, and Fairfax.  The more support they have the better chance the bills have to pass.
