Executive Director Stepping Down

 

 Allen Turnbull will step down as Executive Director of BikeWalk Virginia
this fall. Allen founded BikeWalk Virginia in 2000 working with a dedicated
group of advocates for better bicycling, walking, and trails across the
Commonwealth. Previously, he had founded Bike Virginia, the annual bicycling
adventure now celebrating its 20th year. He will take a few months off
before jumping back into special statewide bicycle projects. He would like
to thank the board and the members for their vision, energy and support in
developing the many programs BikeWalk Virginia now sponsors.

 

Executive Director Applicants Sought

 

Application Deadline - May 18, 2007 

 

The board is seeking qualified applicants for the Executive Director
position. The Executive Director will be an effective leader and
spokesperson in forging relationships across the state in addition to
directing programs, events, membership, finances, and office operations. The
position will be in Richmond or Williamsburg. The anticipated start date is
