FW: Monroe Avenue Bridge Community Informational Meeting Follow Up

Has BikeWalk Alexandria been supporting an appropriate
(i.e., on-road) bicycling accommodation on the
replacement Monroe St Bridge?

The description posted at 
(http://www.potomacyardalexandria.com/monroe_overview.php)
merely refers to a "pedestrian/bicycle sidewalk" along
the east side of the bridge and a "pedestrian
sidewalk" along the west side of the bridge. 

While allowing bicycle access to pedestrian facilities
is often  acceptable, a sidepath would NOT be
appropriate as the sole bicycling accommodation on
this bridge.
