Bikes for the World
Spring 2005 Collection Schedule
Alexandria Area
Bikes for the World collects repairable bicycles in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States, donating them to charities overseas for productive use by individuals in need of affordable transport. It is run by the same people who did Pedals for Progress in this area in the past. Note: $10/bike donation suggested to defray shipping to overseas charity partners. Receipt provided for all material and cash donations. Bikes for the World is a project of the Washington Area Bicyclist Association, a 501 c 3 non-profit charity.
