Dear Mayor and City Council members,

     Bike Walk Alexandria enthusiastically supports
the nomination of Mr. Randy Cole for the position of
Citizen member of Alexandria?s Traffic and Parking
Board.  Randy is a bike commuter and transit user.  He
has worked tirelessly on promoting safe, walkable
streets in the Taylor Run neighborhood.  Randy has the
practical experience of how to get around town without

dependence on the automobile.  We feel this experience
will serve the city well by bringing a bicycling and
walking perspective to traffic issues that come
before the Traffic and Parking Board.  
    Bike Walk Alexandria is a citizen group
advocating for the safety and improved accessibility
for all activity levels of bicyclists and pedestrians
in Alexandria.  We hope that you will help Alexandria
