1- Meeting Dates:  
   At the January meeting we decided to have the
meetings the 1st Monday of each month at St. Elmo's. 
They are now scheduled for all of 2005. Jerry 
2-  Association with BikeWalk Virginia - Bruce
3-  Create master meeting/workshop list and how to
maintain it and get the word out.  Jerry
4 - Major Issues:  Outlined below are the major issues
we will be discussing at the February meeting.  We
will put these in priority order at the meeting. 
These issues were selected by the attendees at our
meetings in Aug and Sept.  We can only work on a few
at a time during each meeting so pick your most
important.

	MAJOR ISSUES AND DESIRES FOR THE COMMITTEE

1- Active community promotion
2- Safety Issues - both bike and pedestrian
3- Connectivity of trails
4- Motorist behavior
5- Bicyclist behavior and knowledge
6- Marketing/outreach by the committee
7- Political pressure - what is most effective
8- Specific trail and route needs
9- Need for sustainable bike and pedestrian
culture/ideology
10- Sponsorship of speakers, conference
11- Implementation of Bike Plan
12- General promotion of bike/walk issues
13- Cars in city by 2010
14- Trails being overused - safety issue
15- Moral support for community needs
16- Activist role - support from City Council
17- Redesign streets - European model - Bikes and
pedestrian considered equal
18- Viewing bikes/peds as alternative transportation
19- Environment where bikes/peds feel safe
20- Creditability of committee
21- Connection with other advocacy groups
