light of the above defeat and the absence of several committee members, I
would like to cancel any "official" meeting for July.  But I would encourage
any unofficial gathering as suggested in the minutes.  Those attending could
plot our next steps to get money without having it recorded in the minutes.

So, without objection, the next official meeting of the bike committee will
be Wednesday, August 16.

Please continue to use the list serv to keep all informed of any bike
related activities.

City Council accepted the staff recommendation in the report on the Bike
Criterium.  Generally positive discussion.  Cleveland raised question about
parking and Sandra responded that there were several details that needed to
be worked out over the summer.  Looks like its a go.
