Alexandria Bike to Work Day Proclamation

Hello,

The Alexandria City Council will consider the Alexandria 2004 Bike to Work
Day Proclamation on Tuesday, April 27 at a Council legislative session that
starts at 7:00 p.m.

As you are aware, biking to work can be a fun, healthy way to get to work
and can help to reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality by
reducing the number of cars on the roads.

Events such as Bike to Work Day help to educate others about the benefits
of bicycling and  encourage awareness about transportation alternatives.
Please feel free to come to the legislative session to show your support
for such efforts in the City.

Work Day at www.waba.org or by calling 202-628-2500.
