I've attend some of the Alexandria Bicycle Study  Committee meetings and
I've found the members are interested in and sensitive to the needs of
skaters.

Memory a bit foggy but I think Bruce Dwyer was a bit miffed to find that HR
2173 was written to favor Arlington and not Alexandria.

(Bruce, do you remember any of the details of why Alex fell outside the
scope of the Legislation ? )
