You are correct.    Actually the PDF map that I sent also 'understates' the
problem.   It shows only the gates that will allow access at least at
certain times of the day.    All other entry points on to Belvoir are to be
closed.

It's not clear if the bike-path to the west side of Meeres Road will be
closed but the Post currently plans to close Meeres Road where it joins Pole
Rd.    Whether closed or not,  the condition of the bike path is such that
most cyclist use the road.

    According to this, the only direct access from the part of the post
between Rte 1 and the Potomac will be via Tulley gate, otherwise you will
have to cross over Rte 1 on Gunston Road and exit from the other side of the
road.  Considering all the on post housing is on that side of the post, that
will be a major pain in the blank.
