Commonwealth Ave. Bike Lanes

I have not seen very many bike lanes w/ directional arrows.  I agree.  It is 
redundant.  However, if we do do them, I assume they would be painted on the 
street, just as the bike symbol would.  

Bad news folks.  Suzanne, Kirk, and I went to the Holmes Run Meeting.  They 
will not endorse putting a trail throught the park.  I have never seen so 
many people at one of these meetings.  People who have never been at the 
meetings before, including the one whose father owns that little triangle, 
were at this meeting.  They continued to raise all of the previous 
objections.  I thought we countered them rather well, but then they dug in 
their heels and finally, after nearly 30 minutes Connie cut off discussion.  
There was no concensus to do the trail.  Even our esteemed park commissioner 
was against it (she tried to deny that we had brought the master plan to the 
committee for approval--I informed them that we had the letter) and Del 
Pepper said nothing.  Connie was disappointed.  THEN, they proceeded to 
discuss how to get the police to patrol the park to curb the deviant 
behavior!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  They keep trying to tie the behavior to 
the porno theatre!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  more later, chan
