transportation policy and program

We (Rich, Emily and Suzanne) wanted to follow up with you regarding docket item #17 on tonight's City Council docket. This item deals with the development of a comprehensive transportation policy and program. Phases 1&2 include a significant public input process. Included in the docket item, central policy goal #3, on page 3, deals specifically with all modes of non-vehicular transportation which certainly includes bicycles, rail, Metro, Dash, pedestrians, etc. As this document is not the policy itself, the individual components of non-vehicular transportation are not described in detail.
