Bike to Work Day

Bike to Work Day is coming up very quickly. The regionwide event is on May 4 with events at Freedom Plaza in downtown DC, Silver Spring, Bethesda, Rosslyn, and at Alexandria City Hall. Our local event will be from 7-9 am. For more info and to register, visit AlexRide.org/biketowork01.html.

Please assist in spreading the word by downloading the fliers on the Washington Area Bicyclist Association Website (WABA.org) and posting them at work, the store, etc. I'd also be happy to mail you brochures.

I'd also like to invite all of you to the Bike to Work Day Proclamation reading by City Council which will be on April 24, starting at 7:30 pm at City Hall, Council Chambers. T-shirts will be provided.
