Raleigh Trail

Well, I have good news and bad news.  We didn't get anywhere tonight with the Holmes Run Committee in getting approval for the trail through the park.  That's the bad news.  I did run through what we had found out regarding the tax maps and so forth before the meeting.  We weren't on the agenda but will be next month.  At that time, I would like to have a large aerial photo of the park with the route drawn on it as well as a map section with the route on it.  Also, the tax map lines.  That's the good news.  I think the good news out weighs the bad.  Besides, these folks REALLY know me now.  I think we are close.  Once approved, I will go back periodically to update them.  Also, it would help if we are able to stake out the trail before the next meeting.  I will then notify Connie and a few others that we have done this and get them to check it out before the meeting.  more later, chan
