King St. Metro Project in Alexandria

to have some input about carrying out the master plan.

Council is having a work session on transportation on Saturday -- probably
around noon.  We have a regular public hearing and will just break to do
transportation.  One of the primary items will be the King Street overpass.
Actually I think the general sentiment will to not do anything at King Street
-- except to do the already approved pedestrian crossings, Metro platform
extension, and tunnel connectors between the train station and the Metro
station and under Duke Street.

If we should decide to go ahead I want to reconstitute the King Street Task
Force (I might do this anyway) and have a public hearing on the overpass.
